  1. Peer Review – Ellie McCracken.

Upon listening to Amadeus’ interpretive reading of Owen’s Dulce et Decorum est, I was instantaneously transported to a horrific battle scene occurring in the First World War. This is because of the hauntingly realistic soundscape that Amadeus created, scenically describing the atmosphere in a way that goes above and beyond the capabilities of human imagination.

  2. Fantastic interpretation and explanation of the poem. I can hear in your voice that you believe every word spoken and the images conveyed and are too affected by them. This is exactly what wen wanted, for his poem and the ideas of war being futile being understood, believed and adopted in the hope that it is never repeated. Unfortunately greed has not left our world, and so we continue to have war. In my own poem “Do you see what I see”, I try to convey not only the futility of war and the effect on others but hopes to get others to show compassion on the victims of war today. https://s00156364.wordpress.com/2017/08/21/do-you-see-what-i-see/
Enjoy the rest of your degree.
